The Ninth Annual University of Miami Three Minute Thesis Competition took place on February 28, 2025, at the Storer Auditorium.

The 2025 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition at the University of Miami once again highlighted the remarkable research and communication skills of our graduate students. The competition featured an impressive lineup of competitors representing a diverse range of disciplines. The distinguished panel of judges included:

  • Eric Diaz-Padron, Mayor, City of West Miami
  • Javier Morgado, Emmy Award-winning Journalist
  • Dr. Guillermo (Willy) Prado, Interim Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, University of Miami
  • Dr. Jennifer Rau, Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs and University Ombudsperson, University of Miami

The first-place winner goes on to represent the University of Miami at the Conference of Florida Graduate Schools (CFGS) 3MT competition, competing against top presenters from other universities across the state.
